Frequently Asked Questions
How is my habit data stored?
MaBestMe stores your habits, check-ins, lapses, schedules, reminders, and progress locally on your device.
MaBestMe does not require an account or use cloud synchronization.
Why am I not receiving reminders?
First, make sure the reminder is enabled for the habit in MaBestMe.
Then check your iPhone notification settings:
Settings → Notifications → MaBestMe
Make sure notifications are allowed.
iOS notification settings, Focus modes, and other system settings can affect whether and how notifications appear.
Can I edit a habit after creating it?
Yes.
Open the habit and choose Edit to change supported details such as its name and icon.
For Do habits, the schedule can be changed before activity has been recorded. Once the habit has recorded history, its schedule is kept fixed so that previous progress and streak calculations remain consistent.
Can I delete a habit?
Yes.
From All Habits, swipe left on a habit and choose Delete.
You will be asked to confirm before the habit and its associated history are permanently removed from MaBestMe.
Does MaBestMe sync between devices?
Not currently.
MaBestMe 1.0 is intentionally local-first and does not currently provide account-based or cloud synchronization.
Does MaBestMe collect my habit information?
No.
Your habit information remains stored locally by the app and is not transmitted to us.
